BAIC has unveiled the BJ60, a seven-seater SUV equipped with a petrol-electric powertrain. Underpinned by a ladder-frame chassis, the BJ60 measures 5 020 mm bow to stern, 1 925 mm wide, 1 955 mm in height, and 2 820 mm between the fore and aft axle.
Outside, the BJ60’s front facia is dominated by a large grille, complete with illuminating elements. The horizontal unit incorporates the headlamps. The model seen here features matte silver skid plates and roof rails and is equipped with 20-inch alloy wheels.
The leather-trimmed interior features a digital driver’s display and a 12-inch touch-enabled infotainment system. Further included in the package are a head-up display, ambient lighting, heating functionality for the seats, and a panoramic sunroof.
The Chinese firm has yet to announce the power and torque output of the BJ60’s hybrid powertrain. However, the Beijing-based brand has confirmed the 0-100 km/h sprint time and range.
The BJ60 accelerates to the three-figure marker from a standstill in a claimed 6.0 seconds. The range is rated at 1 000 km.
