In collaboration with JAOS Corporation, Lexus has whipped the covers off a custom-built LX “Offroad” to “stir the adventurous spirit”.

Based on the LX 600 “Offroad” variant, the bespoke LX combines the standard model’s exterior design “that projects powerful off-road performance” with JAOS’s distinctive, rugged styling. According to the Japanese automaker, the modifications made to the LX will inspire a sense of adventure for the driver and passengers.

The exterior features lightweight, high-rigidity infusion-moulded carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) parts for the front and rear bumper skid protectors and wheelarches. The specially made SUV sits on 20-inch ENKEI wheels, forged by “Team JAOS” through their participation in rally raids.
