Another day, another drag race courtesy of the folks over at carwow. This time, it’s American muscle (in the form of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk) versus Audi’s RS-badged Q8. Watch the video below…

As a reminder, the RS Q8 is powered by a 4.0-litre V8. The twin-turbocharged petrol motor in the Ingolstadt-based automaker’s flagship Q8 produces 441 kW and 800 Nm, which is directed to all four corners via Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive set-up. Sited below the box-shaped bonnet of its American competitor, the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk’s 6.2-litre, supercharged mill produces a whopping 527 kW and 875 Nm. However, the Jeep is around 130 kg heftier than its German rival.
