Another week, another action-packed drag race from the folks over at British publication carwow. This time, the Audi RS3 Sportback takes up the challenge against the BMW M3 Competition. Watch the video below…

As a reminder, the RS3 is powered by Audi’s familiar 2.5-litre, five-cylinder petrol engine. The turbocharged unit directs 294 kW and 500 Nm to all four corners via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which now offers “sportier” gear ratios. According to Audi, this allows for a zero to 100 km/h sprint time of “just” 3.8 seconds.

The rear-wheel-drive M3 Competition is powered by a 3.0-litre inline-six. The twin-turbocharged petrol unit produces 375 kW and 650 Nm of torque for a claimed zero to 100 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds.
