The folks over at carwow have once again taken to the drag strip, pitting the range-topping BMW i4 against a Tesla Model 3 Performance. Watch the video below… 

As a reminder, the i4 M50’s electric motor arrangement produces 400 kW and 795 Nm of torque which, of course, in a zero-emissions vehicle, is available from, ahem, 0 r/min. The Tesla, on the other hand, produces 40 kW and 135 Nm less. However, the Model 3 Performance tips the scales at 1 849 kg compared to the BMW’s 2 215 kg.
