Yup, you’ve read the header right; Jaguar is saying farewell to the F-Type, with the British brand revealing the ZP Edition, the last internal-combustion-engined sports car from the company. Only 150 examples will be made…

“As Jaguar embarks on the boldest transformation in its history, to become a modern luxury all-electric brand from 2025, this is an unrepeatable celebration of Jaguar’s internal combustion sports car provenance,” said Rawdon Glover, Managing Director of Jaguar.

“This is an unrepeatable celebration of Jaguar’s internal combustion sports car provenance”

“F-TYPE has captivated sports car drivers for more than a decade, just as the E-type did five decades before it. The ZP Edition is the ultimate celebration of that lineage, joining an illustrious roster of heritage-inspired collector’s editions including the 2015 Project 7 and 2020 Heritage 60 Edition.”

The F-Type ZP Edition is available in two colourways, each of which recalls the first race-winning ‘Project ZP’ E-types. The colourways are Oulton Blue Gloss exterior paint (over a Mars Red and Ebony dual-tone leather interior) and Crystal Grey Gloss body hue (over a Navy Blue and Ebony dual-tone leather cabin). Both models feature (hand-painted) Porcelain White Gloss roundels on the doors and grille surrounds.

The ZP Edition can be had in coupé and convertible guises. Both variants are powered by Jaguar’s 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine, producing 423 kW and 700 Nm of torque. The firm claims these figures allow the (all-wheel-drive) ZP Edition to complete the obligatory 0-100 km/h sprint in 3.7 seconds, before topping out an an electronically governed 300 km/h.
