The refreshed Venue has been revealed, with Hyundai India releasing images (and some information) of the upcoming model before its official global debut. The firm says the updated Venue has been crafted to supersede the aspirations of “new-age” customers, who seek style, a spacious interior brimming with modern technology, comfort and safety.
Inspired by Hyundai’s ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design language, the refreshed Venue has been styled to evoke a “bold” and “premium” appeal. “The Venue has also been conceptualised to exude a bold & big persona with a focus on exterior design as well as interior space and comfort,” said the South Korean carmaker.
‘Round back, the 2023 Venue features a new LED taillamp arrangement that spans the tailgate. Hyundai says this design element lends the crossover a wider and “confident” appearance.
Six exterior colour options are on offer. These include Typhoon silver, Titan grey, Denim blue, Phantom black, Polar white and Fiery red. The latter body hue can be combined with a black contrast roof.
Inside, the updated model comes equipped with features such as Home-to-car (H2C) functionality with Alexa and Google Voice Assistant. This set-up lets customers control several functions, including climate, locking/unlocking doors, and tyre pressure information.
Hyundai India has revealed that the Venue will be available with a trio of engine options. These include the manufacturer’s Kappa 1.2 MPi petrol engine and 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol unit. A 1.5-litre diesel engine is also available for the Indian market.
