Marking the anniversary of the introduction of the Series 1, Land Rover has revealed the Defender 75th Limited Edition. The company says, “The uniqueness of the 75th Limited Edition ensures its place as a highly collectable Defender.”

75th Limited Edition

The celebratory edition is available in 90 and 110 body styles. Each model features an “exclusive” exterior design theme with “unique” detailing. The Defender 75th Limited Edition variants’ bodywork is finished in Grasmere Green. The “iconic” hue has also been applied to the 20-inch alloy wheels. The latter items are wrapped in all-terrain tyres. The 75th Limited Edition derivatives’ exterior further features Ceres Silver bumpers, privacy glass and a “unique” “75 Years” graphic.

“Since revealing the new Defender, customers around the globe have fallen in love with it and demand remains extremely strong. This new Limited Edition captures the spirit of the past 75 years with its colour and detail and fuses it with innovative new technology such as hybrid electric power, configurable Terrain Response, software, over-the-air updates and unrivalled all-terrain capability,” said Stuart Frith, Lifecycle Chief Engineer of the Land Rover Defender.

The Grasmere Green colour scheme is carried over to the interior. The ‘Cross Car Beam’ is finished in this hue. Laser-etched “75 Years” detailing is also present. The seats are finished in black.

Based on the HSE model, the anniversary model is equipped with a head-up display, the British marque’s 11.4-inch Pivo Pro touchscreen infotainment set-up and a Meridian sound system. A 3D surround-view camera system is also present, as are three-zone climate control and wireless smartphone charging. The 14-way electrically adjustable front pews offer heating functionality, as does the multifunction steering wheel.
