Mercedes-AMG has revealed the E63 S Final Edition. Limited to only 999 examples, this exclusive model features an array of model-specific styling enhancements.

Finished in matte graphite grey magneto paint, the AMG E63 S Final Edition rides on 20-inch AMG forged wheels in a cross-spoke design. Benz’s performance arm says the high-sheen black alloys have been aerodynamically optimised. The AMG emblem on the C-pillar and foiling on the sides of the performance saloon are finished in the same hue to “emphasise” its special status.

The Final Edition derivative also features Mercedes’ AMG Night Package. Several exterior items have been finished in high-gloss black. These include the front splitter, the inserts on the side sill panels, elements on the front wings, and window surrounds. The exterior mirror housings have also been finished in this colour. The trapezoidal tailpipes are finished in black chrome, and the brake callipers in red.

The interior features AMG’s Performance Seat Package High-End. This pack features electrically adjustable and heated AMG performance pews.

Leather trim, complete with yellow contrast stitching, can be found around the cabin. The multifunction tiller is wrapped in black Nappa leather and microfibre DINAMICA material. Carbon-fibre trim is also present. Reminding the owner that this is a special-edition E63 S, an “AMG Final Edition” badge with a designation indicating which of the 999 units the model is, is sited on the centre console.

As a reminder, the E63 S is powered by AMG’s familiar 4.0-litre V8 engine. The twin-turbocharged petrol unit produces 450 kW and 850 Nm of torque for a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 300 km/h.
