Hyundai has unveiled the i30 N Drive-N Limited Edition, “an exclusive special version” of the firm’s front-wheel-drive hot hatchback sporting distinctive exterior and interior design cues.
The i30 N Drive-N features 19-inch forged alloy wheels, finished in dark bronze matte paint; black Hyundai badges; “special” decals on the front, rear and side; and a duo of “Drive-N” badges, finished in dark bronze matte, on the side fenders. These badges also display the GPS coordinates of Hyundai Motor Europe’s test centre at the Nürburgring.
The interior is fitted with a “unique” numbered badge (only 800 units of this special edition will be made), Alcantara trim (instead of leather), and red contrast stitching. All other accents and items, such as the seatbelts, are finished in red.
As a reminder, the updated i30 N’s 2.0-litre four-cylinder powertrain produces 206 kW and 392 Nm. The turbocharged motor is coupled with the South Korean carmaker’s eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. (Watch our in-depth review of the updated i30 N and first-ever Kona N here.)
