Celebrating Maria Teresa De Filippis, the first woman to qualify for a Formula One Grand Prix (having done so in a Maserati 250F), Maserati has unveiled a series of FTributo Special Edition Levante and Ghibli models.
“The tenacious spirit of Maria Teresa De Filippis and the timeless reference to the racing world of the Trident have inspired the new FTributo Special Edition, a limited series available for the Ghibli and Levante,” said the Italian luxury marque.
According to the Modena-based manufacturer, the special-edition variants raise sportiness to a new level thanks to their “eye-catching” details and “sporty” aesthetics. The FTributo Special Edition variants are available in two “exclusive” colours, Arancio Devil (a unique saturated orange) and Grigio Lamiera (grey). Maserati says the former hue recalls Maria Teresa’s nickname, “the she-devil”. The grey hue was inspired by the race track.
Dressed in Arancio Devil, the Levante FTributo rides on 21-inch Anteo wheels. The Ghibli FTributo features Titano items of similar size. The wheel rims feature blue detailing.
For the Grigio Lamiera bodywork, the wheels are finished in gloss black. The Trident badge is dressed in orange, as are the wheel rims.
The exterior shades are carried over to the interior. Cobalt blue and orange stitching are present, contrasting with the black or orange full-grain leather upholstery.
