Remember the special-edition G63 “Edition 55” Mercedes-AMG revealed in March to celebrate AMG’s 55th anniversary? The German marque has now handed the A 35 and CLA 35 the “55 Edition” treatment.
According to Mercedes, these “Edition 55” models are characterised by lavish equipment. Equipped with this package, the A 35 and CLA 35 boast the firm’s “elaborate” Aerodynamics package. This package includes a front apron with an enlarged front splitter, an AMG rear wing, side spoiler lips on the rear apron’s optical air outlets and the blade diffuser. These items are all finished in gloss black. The option of cosmos black or digital white metallic paint finishes further distinguishes these models.
The Mercedes-AMG A 35 and CLA 35 “Edition 55” variants ride on 19-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels, finished with titanium grey paint. The AMG fuel cap is finished in chrome.
The cabin features AMG Performance pews, upholstered in two-tone red and black leather. The steering wheel is also of the AMG Performance variety. This item is wrapped in Dinamica microfibre material. An array of “Edition 55” badges can be found inside.
