Mercedes-Benz has handed the G-Class “an even more off-road look”, with the Thee-pointed Star brand revealing the Professional Line exterior package for the iconic off-roader.

Giving the all-terrain SUV “a particularly striking off-road identity”, the Professional Line exterior package comprises stone guard grilles for the headlamps and fore and aft mud flaps, plus 18-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in “chunky” tyres. The display vehicle, Mercedes says, includes numerous options such as an “eye-catching” magno paint finish.

Selected exterior and interior elements are available through Mercedes-Benz’s G manufaktur customisation programme. The custom specifications include a Professional Line roof rack and spare-wheel cover.

Like the abovementioned elements, Professional Line options are finished in matte black for a “harmonious” overall appearance. As part of the optional Night package, the Mercedes badge, exterior mirror housings and number plate are all finished in black.

The cabin is upholstered in black leather. Open-pore ash veneer completes the interior fitment.
