We’ve unearthed pricing, specs and options for the recently revealed, new (992-generation) Porsche 911 Carrera T. See pricing below…

Porsche 911 Carrera T

The Porsche 911 Carrera T is available in 12 colour options, seven of which are available at no additional cost. The no-cost colour palette includes four solid hues (white, black, Guards red, and Racing yellow) and three metallic colours (Jet Black metallic, Gentian Blue metallic and GT Silver metallic). Cost-option colours include Carmine red, Shark blue, Python green, Crayon and Ice Grey metallic, all available for an additional R65 910. Of course, those seeking a bespoke hue can specify their Porsche 911 Carrera T in paint-to-sample colours (R213 900).

As standard, the 911 Carrera T sits on Carrera S wheels, measuring 20 inches up front and 21 inches at the rear. RS Spyder Design wheels in Titanium grey can be had for R56 660, and Carrera Exclusive Design wheels for R57 660.

The interior is trimmed in the German marque’s Sport-Tex upholstery. However, customers can specify the Sport-Tex interior package that includes swathes of leather for R96 560. Leather upholstery can also be specified for R27 890. Contrast stitching is available as an option. Several hues are available for the central tachometer and seatbelts.

Continuing with the interior, the Porsche 911 Carrera T features Sports Seats Plus with four-way electric adjustability are standard. Adaptive sports pews with 18-way electric adjustability and memory function are available for R63 730. As a reminder, the 911 Carrera T goes without rear seats as standard. However, customers can specify rear pews at no cost. Porsche’s Sport Chrono package is standard.

Further options include (R15 890) ParkAssist with fore and aft park distance sensors and a reverse-view camera. ParkAssist with a surround-view camera system is priced at R41 030. A Burmester high-end surround-sound system can be had for R77 480.

Porsche 911 Carrera T

The box-fresh T-badged variant is equipped with the German marque’s 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six in the same state of tune as the 911 Carrera. The horizontally opposed boxer motor produces 283 kW and 450 Nm of torque. As standard, the engine is coupled with a seven-speed manual gearbox. However, an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission is also available. Porsche claims the (manual) 911 Carrera T sprints to the three-figure marker from a standstill in 4.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 291 km/h.

Slotting in between the 911 Carrera (priced from R1 801 000) and the 911 Carrera S (priced from R2 117 000) in Porsche’s rear-wheel-driven 911 Carrera coupé line-up, the T-badged model is priced from R2 080 000, which includes a three-year Driveplan. Optioning the five-year Driveplan adds R50 000 to the standard asking price.
