Panerai has unveiled a brand-new, limited-edition timepiece – the Submersible S Brabus Black Ops Edition – in celebration of the luxury watchmaker’s “daring” new partnership with German engineering company Brabus.

The special-edition watch is limited to 100 units.

Limited to only 100 pieces, the Submersible S Brabus Black Ops Edition, Panerai says, is a testimony to both the companies’ roots in tech and craftsmanship. The special-edition timepiece took three years to develop.

The case is fashioned from Carbotech.

Housing the first-ever skelotonized movement from Panerai, the 47 mm case is fashioned from Carbotech. A unidirectional rotating bezel allows for the calculation of the immersion time, GMT function and AM/PM indicator. A power reserve of three days are on offer. Water resistance is rated at 300 metres.

The automatic movement offers a power reserve of three days.

As the watch is developed to celebrate the partnership between the two companies, the adaptation of the signature gunmetal grey, black and red colour palette of the German engineering firm brings both product lines closer together. “Brabus” emblems, meanwhile, have been incorporated throughout the design.
