The refreshed line-up comprises three derivatives, each with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine producing 84 kW and 144 Nm of torque. The petrol motor can be had with a six-speed manual gearbox or Hyundai’s IVT unit. A duo of trim grades are on offer. These include Premium, which is available with a manual and IVT, and the Executive, which is exclusively available with the IVT. The South Korean carmaker claims average fuel consumption figures of 6.5 L/100 km (manual) and 6.3 L/100 km (IVT).

The manual variant has a claimed 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 12 seconds. Equipped with the IVT, the Creta completes the sprint 0.2 seconds quicker than the manual model. All derivatives have a top speed of 170 km/h.
