The Hyundai Grand i10 Sedan has landed in South Africa. Here’s what you can expect, including pricing and spec…
HYUNDAI GRAND i10 SEDAN SPECIFICATIONS
The compact sedan is available in only range-topping Fluid level of specification (as a reminder, the hatch — see pricing and spec here — can also be had in entry-level Motion grade). Bar the black-and-grey two-tone colour scheme, the interior design of the sedan is similar to that of the hatchback. The cabin features cloth-trimmed pews, replete with red detailing. The latter hue has also been applied to the round left- and right-hand side air-vent surrounds. An 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, incorporating Apple CarPlay and Android Auto screen mirroring, is present, as is a reverse-view camera, supplemented by rear park distance sensors. The air-conditioning system is of the manual variety. The multifunction steering wheel and driver’s seat feature height adjustability. Boot space comes in at 402 litres.
HYUNDAI GRAND i10 SEDAN ENGINE
A single engine option, a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol, and two transmissions, a five-speed manual and four-speed auto, are available. Coupled with the five-speeder, the 61 kW/114 Nm naturally aspirated motor sips 5.5 L/100 km. The automatic derivative has a claimed average fuel consumption figure of 5.7 L/100 km.
