Paying tribute to the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, LEGO, in collaboration with the Raging Bull brand, has created a life-sized model of the limited-edition supercar.

“The life-sized model comprises 400 000 pieces”

The Italian manufacturer says the 1:1-scale model underlines the two companies’ established partnership and shared values of “brave, authentic and unexpected”. “More than” 154 different types of LEGO pieces were used to ensure the LEGO recreation “embodies the futuristic sophistication and reproduces the unmistakable outline of the Lamborghini Sián, right down to the very smallest details …. Right down to the last millimetre”.

It took LEGO and Lamborghini’s designers, engineers and technicians 5 370 hours to develop this recreation and 3 290 hours to produce it. Comprising 400 000 pieces, the life-sized model measures exactly the same as the supercar it was inspired by at 4 980 mm in length, 2 101 mm in width and 1 133 mm in height.

In addition, the head- and taillamps, which are also fashioned from LEGO Technic pieces, work. A first for a large-scale LEGO model, this Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 build was given a paint-effect coating using official Lamborghini paint.

The “perfectly proportioned” chassis is covered with made-to-measure hexagonal LEGO Technic pieces that are interconnected to form a shell “that is bursting with energy”. The design pays homage to the six-sided shape that plays a key role in Lamborghini’s approach.

Lamborghini Sián

As a reminder, the (original) Sián FKP 37 is equipped with Lamborghini’s V12 engine, incorporating hybrid tech. The internal combustion motor produces 577 kW at 8 500 r/min. However, thanks to the hybrid set-up, total power has been lifted to 602 kW. Lamborghini claims a 0-100 km/h sprint time of “less than” 2.8 seconds and a top speed of “over” 350 km/h.
