Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM) has announced that it has been handed platinum awards across all three of its automotive brands (Toyota, Hino and Lexus) at this year’s National Automobile Dealers’ Association (NADA) Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) Awards.

“We will continue to improve on our relationships and support to our dealerships”

Now in its 27th year, the DSI Awards measure dealers’ satisfaction with various automotive brands across the country. According to TSAM, “The company’s stellar performance is indicative of the relationships it has built with its dealer network.”

“We work tirelessly to ensure our relationships are based on listening to their concerns and acting where appropriate. We believe that the work we have done over the last year is reflected in the results of the Dealers Satisfaction Index,” said Leon Theron, senior vice president of sales and marketing at TSAM. “We are proud that all three brands are placed at the top of their categories. This is a first for us, and we will continue to improve on our relationships, systems and support to our dealerships.”

Theron added that this success is attributed to TSAM’s entire dealer network and reflects the shared value system between the brand and its dealers. “On behalf of the TSAM Dealer Advisory Councils as well as all the Toyota, Hino and Lexus management and staff, we would like to express our sincere thanks to all the dealers for the vote of confidence in our brands,” concluded Theron.
