According to Autocar India, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder will, much like the Urban Cruiser, be based on a Suzuki platform and feature several Suzuki-sourced components and items. These include a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The new variant will also feature connected functionalities, such as operating several vehicle functions via a smartphone.
The publication further reports that the crossover will be equipped with Suzuki’s 1.5-litre petrol engine, which incorporates mild-hybrid tech. Autocar India also notes that it can confirm models sited higher-up in the line-up will gain a full-hybrid powertrain.
