BMW has confirmed the reveal date for the M3 Touring, with the German marque announcing the first-ever M3 estate will make its global debut on 23 June 2022 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The Touring variant is expected to be powered by the Munich-based car manufacturer’s familiar 3.0-litre inline-six petrol engine. As a reminder, in Competition guise, the twin-turbocharged unit produces 375 kW and 650 Nm of torque.

“Never before has a premium estate offered so much driving fun and precision”

“The BMW M3 Touring fulfils the hopes of all those who wish to take the M-specific interplay of racing-oriented performance and everyday suitability to the extreme,” said BMW M.

“Never before has a premium mid-range class estate car offered so much driving fun and precision. Nor was there ever more functional utility available in a thoroughbred sports car,” the company added.
