The most distinguishable cosmetic revisions to the updated version’s exterior include a revised front bonnet, an enlarged grille featuring “diamond” detailing, and redesigned air intakes for the front bumper. A duo of diesel and a trio of petrol engines (one incorporating plug-in hybrid technology), all linked to eight-speed automatic transmissions, are on offer. The D200-badged F-Pace’s 2,0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine produces 147 kW and 430 N.m, while the D300 model’s 3,0-litre turbocharged inline-six turbodiesel produces 221 kW and 700 N.m for a claimed zero to 100 km/h acceleration time of 6,4 seconds.

Five engine options are on offer, including a Plug-in Hybrid Version

The P250 model is endowed with a 2,0-litre four-cylinder turbopetrol engine producing 184 kW and 365 N.m. Powered by a new 3,0-litre inline-six turbopetrol engine, the P400 produces 294 kW and 550 N.m for a claimed zero to 100 km/h acceleration time of 5,4 seconds. The P400e, meanwhile, makes use of a 2,0-litre four-cylinder plug-in hybrid powertrain, producing a combined output of 297 kW and 640 N.m. According to Jaguar, the P400e can accelerate to 100 km/h from standstill in 5,3 seconds and, when fully charged, drive “up to” 53 km on electric power alone.

All Jaguar F-Pace models are sold with Jaguar South Africa’s five-year/100 000 km maintenance plan.
