IWC has revealed the Pilot’s Watch ‘Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team’, the first official team watch of the Mercedes Formula One team.

“We’re delighted to unveil the first official team watch we’ve developed with IWC. It underscores the spirit of unity and the sense of belonging within our team and is a testament to the relationship we have built with IWC over the last decade,” said Toto Wolff, team principal and CEO of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One team.

Fashioned from grade 5 titanium, the timepiece’s 41 mm case houses a black dial, complete with contrasting accents reminiscent of the Formula 1 team’s signature Petronas green colour scheme. The watch is powered by the Swiss luxury brand’s 69385 chronograph. The movement offers a power reserve of 46 hours.

“Both fine watchmaking and racing are all about precision, craftsmanship and performance engineering. But it’s the human factor – the passion the love and the dedication that make all the difference between good and great. This notion perfectly describes our long-standing partnership with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One team,” said Christoph Grainger-Herr, CEO of IWC Schaffhausen.

For those interested in this F1-inspired pilot’s chronograph, it’s worth noting that the ‘Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team’ model is exclusively available on IWC’s website. For more information, visit APEX’s sister website Haute Montres at
