Celebrating the second instalment of the Miami Grand Prix, IWC Schaffhausen, the official timekeeper for the Mercedes-AMG F1 outfit, has released a dedicated version of its renowned Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team. Keeping with Miami’s sun-kissed lifestyle and reflecting the vibrant hues of Ocean Drive, the latest iteration sports an eye-catching Miami pink rubber strap that accompanied the F1 team’s appearance at this year’s Miami Grand Prix. However, in addition to the abovementioned strap, a Petronas green item, matching the numerals and hands, is included, allowing owners to switch back to the original hue following the race.

As a reminder, the IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One was introduced at the first Miami Grand Prix. The timepiece is crafted from rigid grade 5 titanium, a material pioneered by the Swiss luxury watchmaker in the 1980s when the firm released the first wristwatch with a titanium case and bracelet.

Displayed through a sapphire case back, IWC’s 69385 calibre drives the watch. Thanks to the robust chronograph movement’s bi-directional prawl winding system, the power reserve built up in the mainspring is 46 hours.
