Embodying the beauty of motorsport and the unique spirit expressing the merging of man and machine, Louis Moinet has released the Time to Race, a series of one-of-a-kind timepieces created for gentleman drivers. The Swiss luxury watchmaker says the Time to Race range reflects a resolutely competitive spirit.

Customers can select a one- or two-digit number, displayed on the dial, to personalise their watch.

Although not a limited-run collection, the watches are highly collectable as collectors can personalise their model by selecting a one- or two-digit “lucky number” that will appear on the dial. According to the Saint-Blaise-based brand, no two pieces will be alike.

In addition, customers can choose one of three hues for the perforated rubber strap. Embodying the most legendary cars in motorsports, the colours have been specifically selected. The options are Rosso Corsa, Racing Green, and Bleu de France. The strap features a triple-blade folding clasp.

The watch’s chronograph movement is displayed through domed sapphire crystal glass.

The 40.7 mm case is crafted from grade 5 titanium. The bi-material inner bezel ring frames a woven carbon-fibre main plate. The dial side, displayed through the box-type sapphire crystal glass, showcases the watch’s chronograph mechanism.

Speaking of the movement, the watch is equipped with the company’s LM96 unit. The self-winding item offers a power reserve of 48 hours. The automatic movement is kept safe at water depths up to 50 metres.

The Rosso Corsa hue is reminiscent of the colour donning Italian racing cars. At the same time, the green and blue straps remind the wearer of British and French motorsport colours, respectively.
